Pune was known as the city of PL Deshpande.
Now, it is known as "City" of IPL Deshpande!
Ref: A controversy over whether Mr Aniruddha Deshpande, director of City Corporation, was bidding for the Pune IPL(Indian Premier League for cricket competitions) franchise in his personal capacity.
Or, whether Mr Sharad Pawar and family have a stake in the bid, as 16% shareholders of the said City Corporation.
